Lucerne Full-Brogue V

The handmade Full-Brogue Derby exudes its charming nonchalance through the opulent embellishment with Lyra perforations and the soft calf suede of the shaft. The elegant perforated pattern, which adorns both the edges of the shaft and the front edge, was originally found on the footwear of the Irish and Scottish rural population. In order to allow the shoes, softened by the damp swampy ground, to dry better, the shepherds simply drilled holes into them. In the 18th century, Brogues gradually became socially acceptable and today serve primarily decorative purposes. Crafted on the Luzern last, it exudes additional dynamism. The lightweight Goodyear welt construction results from a flexible leather midsole and an outer Poron layer.
