1. Interesting Facts About Our Shoes

Where are the Dinkelacker shoes manufactured?

The elaborate production of our luxurious men's shoe collection has been entrusted to experienced shoemakers in our manufacturing facility in Spain since 2020, where the noble craft of shoemaking has been based for centuries. In addition, since 2024, the "Turin Sneaker" and all models with the Turin last and the Genoa last and the Florence last are produced in Tuscany, Italy.

The current company headquarters, along with its own Heinrich-Dinkelacker store, is located in the Swabian town of Bietigheim-Bissingen.

What do the abbreviations in the model names mean?

The abbreviations in our model names refer to the type of leather and the model of the respective shoe. Here is a list of abbreviations for the types of leather:

AC = Antikcalf

AG = Art Grain

AN = Antique

C = Cordovan

CA = Calf Leather Glossy Embossed

What is the quality of the shoes?

Our shoes represent the highest craftsmanship and exceptional quality. Each shoe goes through up to 300 steps, is made by highly experienced shoemakers from the finest leathers, and is almost exclusively crafted in the traditional Goodyear welted construction method. This attention to detail guarantees unparalleled durability and comfort.

Are there also 2nd choice shoes?

Yes, in our Dinkelacker store in Bietigheim, we carry a selection of shoes that are considered 2nd choice. These models usually have minimal visual defects, but are otherwise of the same quality and durability. Feel free to visit us there and discover special pieces at attractive prices.

What types of leather are used?

We process some of the world's best leather, such as from renowned tanneries like Horween, Weinheimer, Tanneries du Puy, or Rendenbach. Our shoes are made from a variety of leathers, including:

Boxcalf - Smooth, fine-grained calf leather

Shell Cordovan – Especially durable horse leather

Calf suede - Soft, velvety leather for maximum comfort

Water Buffalo - Durable leather with natural grain

Why are there color differences in leather?

Each leather hide is unique, which is why there may be slight color variations with natural materials. Especially with hand-dyed leathers like Shell Cordovan or waxed calfskin, subtle differences are a sign of quality and highlight the uniqueness of each shoe.

How do I care for leather shoes?

Regular maintenance is important to preserve the exceptional appearance, texture, and durability of the shoes for as long as possible. With proper care, our shoes can last a lifetime.

How do the Dinkelacker shoes fit?

Our shoes are true to size, but may fit differently depending on the last shape. While narrow models like the Milano last fit tighter, wide lasts like the Janosh-K offer more room. Please use our size chart on each product page for guidance.

Are there also women's shoes by Heinrich Dinkelacker?

Our brand specializes in exclusive men's shoes made of leather. However, some women also choose a model from our collection.

For women, we recommend the elegant women's shoes from Henry Stevens as well as the sporty women's sneakers from N91. Both Henry Stevens and N91 are subsidiary brands of Heinrich Dinkelacker.

2. Information about Ordering, Delivery & Returns

How do I choose the right shoe size?

Our sizes may vary depending on the last shape. Therefore, please use our size chart on each product page or consult our customer service.

Can I change an order afterwards?

Changes are possible as long as the order has not yet been shipped. Please contact us as soon as possible at kundenservice@heinrich-dinkelacker.de or by phone at +49 (0)30 609837070.

What payment methods are available?

In our online store, you have a variety of payment options available. Add the desired products to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout. There, you can select your preferred payment method.We offer the following options:

Please note: In case of the payment method "advance payment", we can only ship the goods to you once the due amount has been credited to our account.

What are the shipping costs?

Free shipping for orders over €249.

Shipping costs €4.95 for orders under €249.

Why haven't I received an order confirmation?

Please check your spam folder. If you have not received an email, please contact our customer service.

How can I return an order?

You have 14 days to return. Use our return label to make a free return.

How long does delivery take?

Usually, delivery within Germany takes 2 to 3 working days and to Austria and Switzerland 2 to 4 working days.

How can I register?
