Unless otherwise stated for each technology, data processing is based on an agreement concluded between joint controllers in accordance with Art. 26 GDPR. For more information about data processing by Google, please refer to the Google Privacy Policy.

Google Analytics

For the purpose of website analysis, data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, as well as information about your use of our website) is automatically collected and stored with Google Analytics, from which usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. Cookies may be used for this purpose. Your IP address will not be merged with other data from Google. The data processing is based on an agreement for order processing with Google.

For the purpose of optimizing our website, we have enabled the data sharing settings for "Google products and services". This allows Google to access and use the data collected and processed by Google Analytics to improve their services. The data sharing with Google under these data sharing settings is based on an additional agreement between responsible parties. We have no control over the subsequent data processing by Google.

Google Analytics uses the extension function Google Signals for web analysis, which enables "cross-device tracking". If your internet-capable devices are linked to your Google account and you have activated the "personalized advertising" setting in your Google account, Google can create reports on your usage behavior (especially cross-device user numbers) even if you switch devices. We do not process any personal data in this regard, we only receive statistics created based on Google Signals.

Google Ads

For advertising purposes in Google search results and on third-party websites, the so-called Google Remarketing cookie is set when you visit our website, which enables interest-based advertising through the collection and processing of data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, as well as information about your use of our website) and using a pseudonymous cookie ID and based on the pages you have visited. Further data processing only takes place if you have enabled the "personalized advertising" setting in your Google account. For this purpose, cookies may be used and data (IP address, time of visit, device and browser information, as well as information about your usage of our website based on events we have specified, such as visiting a webpage or signing up for a newsletter) may be collected to create usage profiles using pseudonyms.

Google Maps

To visually display geographical information, Google Maps collects data about your use of the Maps functions, in particular your IP address and location data, transmits it to Google, and then processes it. We have no control over this subsequent data processing.

Google reCAPTCHA

For the purpose of protecting against abuse of our web forms and spam by automated software (so-called bots), Google reCAPTCHA collects data (IP address, time of visit, browser information, as well as information about your use of our website) and conducts an analysis of your use of our website using a so-called JavaScript and cookies. For information on data protection and data usage by Klar, please refer to the following website: https://www.getklar.com/data-protection.

8. Personalized Advertising and Data Matching

We use these Customer Match Lists as part of our advertising measures for customer matching. For this purpose, lists with encrypted ("hashed") user data (email address, phone number, mailing address, customer-specific identifiers) are sent to the provider. The provider then compares whether the transmitted user data matches existing customers of the provider. This only happens if we have your consent for this. You can revoke this measure at any time, informally. To do so, simply send an email to customerservice@heinrich-dinkelacker.com with the subject line "Revocation Marketing". Your data will then be removed from the customer match list of the provider. Please make sure to use the email address for which the revocation should apply. Otherwise, it is unfortunately not possible for us to assign your revocation to your customer data.

We use the following technologies for comparisons:

8.1 Facebook Custom Audience with Email Addresses

Facebook Custom Audiences is a remarketing campaign where the advertiser encrypts the email addresses collected for this purpose using an algorithm and uploads this non-personal checksum (hash values) to the Facebook server. Facebook can then compare these transmitted data with its existing list of encrypted user IDs and save the matches in the advertiser's customer account as "Customer Audiences" and target them with advertisements. At the end of the comparison, all uploaded hash values are deleted.

For more information about the scope of the collection and further processing and use of data by Facebook Custom Audiences, please refer to the privacy policy of Facebook, which can be found at https://www.facebook.com/ads/website_custom_audiences/ and https://www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation. The terms and conditions for Custom Audiences can be found at https://www.facebook.com/ads/manage/customaudiences/tos.php. You can opt out of the collection and use of information for targeted online advertising to specific audiences by clicking on the following link: https://www.facebook.com/ads/website_custom_audiences/.

8.2 Google Custom Match with Email Addresses

With Google Customer Match, advertisers can import their own lists of customer email addresses into their Google AdWords account, which are encrypted using an algorithm. Customer Match compares the anonymized email lists in AdWords with its own database of registered users, allowing for targeted ads within Google Search, YouTube, and Gmail, as well as self-optimizing campaigns. Additionally, Google can also identify similar customers with similar interests based on the uploaded user lists.

With the "Customer Match" feature, Google creates a central source of information for retargeting customers (i.e. visitors are captured on a website and targeted with specific advertising on other websites). The guidelines for the "Customer Match" feature apply to the data provided by the advertiser.

For further information, please refer to the  Google Privacy Policy at: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/. You can manage your personal data and privacy settings under "My Account" on Google.

8.3 Google Remarketing / Google Ads

This website uses Google Remarketing, a software that is used to present users of our websites with interest-based advertisements. Google Remarketing uses cookies (see above) for this purpose. The data processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. This function can be technically prevented by the user of the websites by disabling JavaScript and cookies in their web browser.

Details on the necessary settings can be found in the product descriptions or instructions of the various browser providers. Data processing by Google can also be prevented by using a browser add-on to disable Google.
