Full-Brogue I

The secret lies in the details of this handcrafted and welt-sewn Full-Brogue Derby. While the bottom side of the used silk-matte calfskin has been dyed in orange, the upper leather side presents itself in a warm brown tone.

The result is an exciting, yet unobtrusive color contrast at the cut edges of the opulent perforation. Traditionally equipped with an open 4-hole lacing, the famous shoe classic also impresses with an elaborate triple sole, lovingly detailed 6-nailing and brass trim at the tip.

The characteristic perforated pattern originated from Scottish or Irish cattle herders and was originally used throughout the upper leather. This allowed the shoes, often soaked in the marshy highlands of Ireland and Scotland, to dry more easily. Today, the stylish and elegant brogues serve solely as decoration.
